The Ponts park

 

Located in the eastern part of Noguera it is one of the biggest centres and an important focus of communications in the county. It also includes three villages: La Força, Torreblanca and El Tossal.
Ponts is a welcoming town, with a willingness to serve which, because of its geographical location, has always been considered an essential place to stop and stay, enjoying the wide range of hotels and restaurants and its traditionally made culinary products.
The old town is centred on the so-called Ponts bank – the left bank of the Mid Segre, the Ponts side, is disrupted in the west by La Solana and widens out into the Llobregós valley.

 

The main communications route is the A2 motorway, the C-1412 road from Jorba to Folquer, linking to Barcelona and Tremp via Calaf. Ponts to converge the roads connecting the region with the rest of the country: the C-14 road that goes from Salou to La Seu d'Urgell, the road from Folquer to Jorba, former C-1412, linking to Barcelona and Pallars Jussà; road L-313 which connects with the city of Segre Mitjà  with Cervera and the N-II, the C-14, C-26 AND C-13 was from Lleida to Puigcerdà.
